Language classes for children

Kairos Languages provides quality professional language services to prepare your children for International school as expats and for those who are returning to their country and wish to continue with their development. In addition, we give lessons to young children who wish to begin learning languages early and as an extra curricular activity making it both fun and educational.

Individual or group lessons for young learners

These are group classes for young learners who not only wish to improve their skills in English but also wish to establish a positive connection with language learning.

We achieve this by making learning an active and dynamic process. This means not giving children overwhelming information to assimilate but drawing out their potential capabilities through games, crafts, singing and other type of creative processes.

We are also sensitive to the fact that children are expected to follow a curriculum to reach the objectives established by the European Framework and both teacher and parents work together to help their children achieve these targets, whilst making learning an enjoyable experience.

Preparation for children of future expats

These classes are usually individual and tailor-made for each child to suit his/her needs accordingly

Preparing children and parents for a new experience, both cultural and linguistic in the best way possible is our main objective in this course. We use a variety of tools and resources to achieve this purpose.

Parents and teacher work together to help make the child the transition easily by making the learning experience both enriching and enjoyable.

Children returning to their country of origin

Many parents find that after a great experience of living in a foreign country and learning a new language, their children return to their country and forget the new language quickly.

These classes are to maintain the level acquired and to continue developing that new language acquired which could be very important for their future.

Learning a new skill

Learning a new skill through a second acquired language
(CLIL Content and Language integrated learning)

Children learn to sing, play percussion instruments and play tunes on the piano in English! Here English is learnt through another skill and what better skill than music! By placing the focus on another skill, children forget that it is an English class and get the real experience of learning a new skill as if they were in an English-speaking country.
